Development of Kanti Children’s Hospital into Institute of Child Health
Over the past few years efforts were ongoing to develop Kanti Children’s Hospital into an institute of child health. Several taskforces and committees were formed for developing a proposal for converting KCH into ICH. The Government of Nepal has recently given mandate to the KCH Board to work towards developing KCH into institute of child health. In this context we present here our initial ideas on the vision, goals, objectives and strategies.
A CENTER OF HIGHER LEARNING
KCH provides excellent facilities for those students who wish to pursue their MDs in child health in Nepal. In addition, it is also offering elective courses on child health care for foreign and domestic students whoever wish to join ICH/KCH.
The institute will be the center of learning for all post-graduate, under-graduate pediatric clinicians, paramedics and nurses.
