OUR VISION/ GOALS
Our vision and goal is to establish ICH : KCH as a center of excellence in pediatric education, child health services and research, which assists Government of Nepal in delivering high quality pediatric care at affordable price even up to remote areas through education, training, distant learning, telemedicine and research , through establishment of referral systems which leads to achieve the Millenium Development Goal ( MDG) goal by reducing IMR and under five mortality by 2/3rd by the year 2015
MISSION
To realize vision, our mission is as follows:
1. To upgrade the capacity of existing hospital through infrastructure, increasing number of beds, recruitment of various categories of HRH, equipping hospital with necessary equipment.
2. Further develop existing sub specialty units, add preventive, promotives, rehabilitative social support and child development units.
3. Start post-graduate teaching courses under affiliation with various Universities inside and outside the Nation.
4. Conduct regular training courses for GoN at national, regional and district level in collaboration with NGOs and Pediatric Society.
5. Networking with other centers of excellence in the country and outside.
